Curly Redwood Balsa Update

I’ve finally recovered from a month-long bout with pneumonia and am back at work.
Today, after more than 2 1/2 months of preparing the wood and gluing all of the balsa and T-Bands, it is time to do the final assembly, that is attach the final T-Bands and Curly Redwood pieces.
But first a little clean up on the balsa.

The sections that I am gluing to are all chambered, but was very heavy balsa and I was curious as to how much weight was there before the Curly was added on.

That’s 44.6 pounds!

Now to assemble
